On location. Here we have a problem. Yorkshire to cornwall is a LONG way. Swindon and hampshire is easy. However no matter where i put into routefinder somebody (or even two bodies) has a 3 hour or longer drive! The best i can really do is swindonish which is about 3 hours from bude an 4 from leeds. Which, as i say, is a LONG way for a one day course! If you are willing then thats grand but i'd understand if not! Sorry, thats geography for you! If anyone has any better ideas or knows how the trains work then let me know! Regards Robert

Hi all,
I was brought up in Aldershot (army brat duntcha know) so still have friends darn sowf so I could always mix the biomx day with a visit to the old stomping ground.
I'm still in touch with friends down there & I hold a current UK passport so getting back shouldn't be a problem.
If Robert posts a venue I'll certainly do my best to attend.

HEY all
Thanks for making me so welcome. I just KNEW somebody would start!! ( hahaha)
It's soooo good to find people with such a wicked sense of humour, I look forward to meeting you all soon, wherever we end up going. I qualified from smae a year ago and am still finding my feet ( so to speak!!) Hell that was really bad!! But gotta join in the fun. Anyway, I really don't mind where I have to travel to, just to have some training would be good.
regards Kath

ianl- I am happy to travel for an opportunity to meet up with podiatrists who will not 'bite my head off' and to gather information, I have only been qualified from SMAE for a month and I think if this was levelled too far above my capabilities I would not even consider attending.
Kath -As a fully paid up member of the slowest person in the room club,I look forward to meeting you.

Hi Lynda , We do not bite heads off on this site ( unless you are a Troll ;D ) Go and enjoy the learning and don't be afraid to ask questions Slow ? Fast ? who cares just get something from the day and if you make sure you understand the biomx you are taught, I promise it will open up a whole new concept of footcare to you You will be one step ahead of the competition as YOU will be able to treat your patients more effectively using your new found knowledge Good luck Derek

Tains are actually powered by electricity. The electricity comes from a generator that creates electricity by spinning. Just as the generator/alternator does under the hood of a car. But the electrical output and size of the generator in a train requires a lot more power.....
Swindon is fine by me.
Cheers, Bel

Yep. You'll do ;D . Pleased to have you along. Oh really? I never knew that about tains. Are they the same as trains? ;D Or a Homeopath Thats what its all about. Plus i need bickering partners. I'm thinking a few years down the line. Once you get the bug... Ok. Swindon it is. I'll start venue hunting. Next, dates. How does sunday 27 july sound to people? Regards

Hi Rob,
I live in sleepy Newport, Shropshire, Up from the M6 at Birmingham and along the M54. It is also handy for Stafford (20 Mins), Shrewsbury, (25 mins)Chester (50 mins)
Just a suggestion. Anyone needing accommodation is welcome to camp in my garden - anything to keep costs down!!
