Well, I didn't think Bill's talk would come in handy quite so soon.
Lady came in today, pain right foot between 2nd and 3rd metatarsals, described as ache, onset several months, wants to remove shoe and rub foot to ease the pain. o/e Palpable lump i/b plantar 2nd and 3rd Metatarsals posterior to the MHs, what I took to be a Mulder's click, but felt more like a 'crunch', no numbness or tingling, not radiating. Sound possible? I have strapped it with a PMP integrated, coming back next week. I guess the next step would be to refer for ultrasound scan - was that correct Bill?
Anyway, she was impressed with my detailed knowledge of the operative procedure! "Oh, you have to know these things to be a Pod" (to paraphrase our favourite movie)
