Hi
Anyone have a UK source for a toe up device. It wraps around the ankle/leg area and clips to a buckle in the shoe laces. Some have called it a foot up as well.
Cheers Ian

Used them for a while. Its a reinvention of the old version which was a hook attatched to the end of the shoe and the same strap around the ankle.
I've used the new version with great success in flaccid foot drop in adults and occassionally in children. Also used it in MS cases where the dorsiflexors stop working after 1/2 hour when they get tired.
No use at all for active toe walkers though (CP kids etc). Also have to be careful with crumblies cos the strap around the leg has to be quite tight. Sometimes inadequate in people with heavy shoes / short feet.
Overall though, a good toy IMO. Compliance tends to be much better as well!
What are your experiences Lawrence?
Regards Robert
