Dear all.
By popular request am happy to announce the next “Biomechanics Sunday School” to follow on from the foundation biomechanics day.
The topic for this one is “Podopaediatrics” It will be held on Sunday 30th November. The aim is to equip the practitioner to confidently assess and treat younger patients from walking age to 18 years old.
The day will be split into 4 sessions
Introduction to Paediatrics
Paediatric assessment, how does it differ from adult assessment
Approaching the paediatric patient
Managing parental expectation
Severe / Medical Podopaediatrics
The Paediatric foot in Downs, Cerebral Palsy, Autism etc
Surgical appliance options, Above Ankle Orthotics such as AFO’s, Specialist footwear.
Everyday Paediatrics
Managing the hypermobile child, Ethics, Evidence and Experience
Common Paediatric presentations, Heel pain, Severs, Leg pain, Knee Pain, In toeing, toe walking.

Case Studies discussion etc
The Venue for this session will be the Village Hotel Maidstone

This is conveniently located at Junction 6 of the M 20. The course will be catered, with hot drinks on arrival and during morning and afternoon recess. A finger buffet lunch is also provided.
The cost of this course will be £85. However an early booking discount is available. Book Before the end of September and the cost will be £75. The same discounted rate of £75 is also available to customers of Footprints Orthotic Solutions.
