Thankyou, David, for creating this board.
Its genesis lies in an observation that many biomechanics threads turn into hair splitting exercises. Great fun for those like me who enjoy that, but d**n hard for the folk who are less confident in biomechanics to join in.
The point of this board is not for the edification of the BIOMX junkies, its for those who are not so confident to ask questions / seek clarification / seek advice.
Most of us have guilty little gaps in our knowledge. I went 3 years in biomech not knowing, and too embarrassed to ask anyone what kinetic chain theory was all about. This is the place to get those gaps filled.
So. Having gone begging to david to ask him to create this, i now need somebody to validate me by asking a question. Else i'll look silly.
Over to you...
Regards
Robert

THE RULES
ABSOLUTLEY NO FLAMING!!! I know this probably does not need to be said but the emphasis of this board is that there is no such thing as a silly question. Any critism of people for not knowing something already and we will be down upon you with a force (F) equal to the lever arm (L) multiplied by the velocity (V) all multiplied by the inverse of the amount of sleep the mod got last night (S-1)
NO DRIVING THREADS OFF TOPIC. If something somebody posts here sparks a discussion / disagreement, crack off another thread in biomechanics by all means. But keep the thread for the benifit of the OP.
KISS (keep it simple stupid). The idea of this board is to get answers to people who may not be so well read / experianced / knowledgable about biomech. Replies should therefor be as simple as possible. Not everyone has a degree in bioengineering and some people panic when the calculators come out or a herd of moments come galloping over the hill.
MAX RESPECT To anyone with the integrity and courage to admit a gap in their knowledge. Its not an easy thing to do!
