Hi all, hope you're well.
Have brought a second hand Escmann SES 2000 autoclave from a dentist. As i'm sure you're aware, it can have a printer retrofitted (if required later) and has the two temperatures so that if the 121 degree level becomes 'good practice' no longer (which i've also heard) then i'm prepared!
But i have a few questions.
Firstly, can anyone recommend a company for servicing/validation etc as this will be needed before i can use it.
Secondly, what is peoples preferred cycle on this machine, is it better to do the short 134 degree cycle or the longer 121 degree cycle? And is there any benefit from the drying cycle?

Hi,
Canonbury can arrange servicing, but the dentist you purchased from should also be able to give you the name of a good engineer.
I believe (and others will correct me if I'm wrong) that the 134 degs cycle is preferable.
Drying is not normally used unless you are preparing sealed packs of instruments.
Cheers,

Thanks David
The dentist had it serviced by Eschmann themselves, but was looking to see if there is any other companies that are recommended by others
Thanks again

Hi Blinda
Thanks for that, just looked at their website, seems quite reasonable too!
