Whats with phytex and the use, or not, of it on diabetics please folks. I know not to, but whats the reasoning? Cheers.

Salicylate toxicity can occur particularly if applied on large areas of skin (BNF) Obviously there is a danger of ulceration. just my thoughts. Regards Rob

personally i'd say diabetes or no diabetes don't waste your money
have seen ulceration caused by pt with diabetes filing prox nail fold instead of nail when using topical antifungal nail tt prescribed by GP
