Apologies admin and users.
I realised yesterday that there is only one anonymous account - hence the 50-odd posts and karma from a new poster.
So in the spirit of being helpful I would suggest: There is nothing wrong with using a no 10 blade. Its what I was taught at College - 11's were frowned upon.
If this is simply callous it should respond to debridement and a suitable emollient. Ask admin about how to post a pic.

I've never much cared for 11 blades myself.

Oh dear are we looking for another thread?
11s vs 10s (I've got pointier boning knives)
And 15s vs the 15T. (I believe commissioned by the NHS for a more pointy thing?)
All meant in good humour, guess it was what you were trained on.
And another of by beliefs shattered.
Still 10s could be the sought for etiology of those weird corns?
Shy.

LOL!!
Comissioned by the NHS for a more pointy thing. Love it. I can see the negotiations now. "your 15 blade is not pointy enough. we want something pointyer, though not as pointy as the REALLY pointy ones. "
;D
Like you say, its what you're used to. I Know podiatrists who think that 15 blades are for wimps and only uses an 11. Its probably down to the preferences of one's teachers.
Can't argue taste.
Regards Robert
